Admission Requirements

To be considered for admission to Shenandoah Valley Bible College, applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale is required, along with evidence of spiritual maturity and academic readiness. All applicants must affirm the college’s Statement of Faith as a condition of enrollment.

As part of the application process, students must complete the online application form through Populi, submit official high school or college transcripts, and write a 250–500 word Christian testimony essay within the application. This essay allows our team to assess both spiritual commitment and written communication skills. SVBC does not offer provisional or conditional admission. Applicants who do not meet the requirements may reapply at a later date after demonstrating academic improvement or spiritual growth.

Technology Requirements

To succeed in your online courses at Shenandoah Valley Bible College, you’ll need a reliable laptop or desktop computer and access to high-speed internet. Most modern computers will work just fine, and a strong connection will help you stream lectures, submit assignments, and participate in discussions without interruption. You should have a basic web browser (like Chrome or Firefox), the ability to view PDF files, and a word processor such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs. All students must be able to submit written assignments in .doc, .docx, or .pdf format, so your technology should support saving and uploading files in these formats.

Tuition & Fees

Tuition at Shenandoah Valley Bible College is $200 per credit hour. All courses are billed individually, with no registration fees and no hidden fees. In addition to tuition, a nonrefundable technology fee of $50 is applied to each course to support our online learning systems. However, this technology fee is waived for active-duty military and veterans. Other fees include a $25 nonrefundable application fee for new students, a $200 graduation fee, a $10 transcript request fee, and a $25 late payment or returned check fee, when applicable. All tuition and fees must be paid in full through Populi before the first day of class, and SVBC does not offer installment plans at this time. For more information, see our Academic Catalog.
